Miracle cough
"Weeks of coughing, pain and infection were suddenly over. It was a miracle. That spine could have caused bleeding, blood clots a pulmonary embolism. It could have killed me..."
Not a joke!
Rusty worked with cactus for a living. When they stuck into his hand like a pincushion he often pulled them out with his teeth.

Apparently he inhaled a spine from his mouth that lodged in the bronchial tubes to his lungs. As the area became infected he developed a chronic cough - hacking at something that would not "come up."
Rusty has been coughing for 4 week s - a pain that started in the upper left bronchial but spread to a lung infection. He couldn't cough up what was irritating his lungs. His doctor called in a prescription of tetracycline and prednesone. Rusty was breathing better when the antibiotic kicked in. After a few days Rusty started to cough one night until he felt something break loose - it was big and finally coming up!

He coughed out a finger size tube of thick green-yellow mucus! In it he could feel something stiff when it came up his throat. It contained a thread like stiff scab section. Rusty used tweezers to pull out of it a 10mm cactus spine!

WOW! That was it. Weeks of coughing, pain and infection were suddenly over. It was a miracle. That spine could have caused bleeding, blood clots that could have caused a pulmonary embolism. It could have killed him.
Dusty was glad Rusty felt better!
So was Rusty.

Tyler was happy for him, too.
